The decision to create a new scholarship is based on the desire of
the sponsors of six scholarship accounts to be able to
participate in offering a scholarship every year. Alone, as
funds are available, each account would be able to provide a
scholarship only once every two, three, or even four years.
Pooling the funds for five scholarships in 2015 will make it
possible to provide two $2,000 awards for candidates considering careers in
special education, secondary-school teaching, aviation, public
service or in music. |
