This scholarship was established by retired Bothell High School counselor Joanne Harkonen and her husband Dave, a retired Bothell businessperson and Kiwanis of Northshore member. Over the years the Faculty has contributed to the endowment in order to maintain the scholarship value and, on special occasion, has funded a second scholarship offered through the Foundation.
